How do I make reservations? Reservations are made right here on the website.
How do I find the boat? The meeting place is the Sail Me truck, located right near the docks in Perkins Cove. It has a large sign and you can't miss it. A crewmember will retrieve you from there shortly before your scheduled departure. Please do not be late. If you are waiting at the truck and no one has come to get you yet, fear not as we are getting the boat ready for the next trip.
Where do I park? Perkins Cove has hourly parking, although this fills up fast on nice days. There are also several all day paid lots nearby. Allow plenty of time to find parking because it can get busy.
Can I bring (alcoholic) drinks and snacks? Yes! BYOB is allowed.
Is there a bathroom on board? While there is a small head (toilet) aboard, we encourage everyone to use the bathroom ashore beforehand, for your own comfort. The toilet is small and not what you are used to. The public restroom ashore can be found in back of the cove, by walking beyond the footbridge.
Will we see any wildlife? Most trips see at least some kind of wildlife, such as seabirds, seals, harbor porpoises, sunfish, and if we are very lucky a whale.
Where does the trip go? To put it simply, we go where the wind takes us! This may include cruising near the rocky shoreline, along Ogunquit beach, or offshore past the bell buoy to catch the sea breeze. Sailing is about the journey, not the destination!
What is the cancellation policy? We require at least 24 hours notice in order to receive a refund. If you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice for any reason, you may be refunded only if we can refill your seats.
What if there is bad weather? Captain Will cancels the trip and issues a refund. We avoid rain, although occasionally we will encounter a few sprinkles if we're out there sailing around isolated rain storms.
